Larry Stephenson Band to Showcase THANKFUL With Numerous Radio Outlets In Next Few Weeks

NASHVILLE, TN -Larry Stephenson and company will showcase their highly acclaimed brand new project THANKFUL, an inspiring collection of traditional bluegrass gospel songs, with numerous radio outlets in the next few weeks.
Larry will chat LIVE with WorldWide Bluegrass.com host Gracie Muldoon this coming Friday, April 25th at 1pm EST. Muldoon has called Stephenson "One of the finest tenors ever in the genre of Bluegrass!" You can also hear Larry on Sirius Satellite Radio on Sunday, May 4th at 12 noon EST when he hosts the Sunday morning Bluegrass Gospel Train Show on Sirius Bluegrass Channel 65.
The entire Larry Stephenson Band can also be heard on Friday, May 9th on XM Satellite Radio's Bluegrass Junction with Kyle Cantrell for an in-studio special and a segment has already been taped for Into the Blue with Terry Herd, the most highly syndicated bluegrass radio show in the nation, for a future airing.
Larry recently had fun with world renowned podcast celebrity and XM Radio bluegrass radio personality Wichita Rutherford and talked with legendary radio personality Eddie Stubbs on WSM Radio 650 AM on March 18th, debuting THANKFUL on the undeniable home to classic country radio.
The song "Press On Pilgrim," is currently the #1 Radio DJ pick on Volume 91 of the April Prime Cuts of Bluegrass CD, distributed to radio DJs nationwide. It also charts in the #3 slot on the Bluegrass Now Magazine Gospel Truths Chart as well as being named a Bluegrass Now Top 20 Fan's Choice song in the current issue of the magazine.
THANKFUL is being called one of the finest album's of Stephenson's career as it effortlessly weaves Larry's strong and identifiable bluegrass tenor vocals with a solid mix of songs that combine messages of devotion, thankfulness, contemplation and faith with the high lonesome sound that the band has become known for through the years.
The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer says, "Stephenson has honed his voice into one of the best bluegrass tenors this side of Bobby Osborne," and the ALL MUSIC GUIDE calls Thankful and "inspiring disc."
The album spotlights guest appearances by acclaimed female vocalist Sonya Isaacs, the first female voice ever to be included on a Larry Stephenson recording. The album also features seven time IBMA Bass Player of the Year Missy Raines, as well as Dustin Benson (lead & harmony vocals, guitar), Shad Cobb (fiddle & harmony fiddle), Warren Goad (bass vocals), Aaron McDaris (lead & harmony vocals, banjo) and Ben Surratt (harmony vocals).
